Known around the globe as the Wagyu of pork, Kurobuta is produced from one of the world's most prestigious pig breeds. Kurobuta pork comes from pure Berkshire pigs which have been bred and farmed according to traditional Japanese techniques.

The unique characteristics of Kurobuta pork include its deep, nutty and sweet flavour, fine muscle fibre, and remarkably high omega fat content.

Whitehart Kurobuta are farmed and grain-finished in Fairlie, South Canterbury, against the stunning backdrop of the Southern Alps.
